One of the newest additions to Heathrow Airport, the newly rebuilt Terminal 2 – known as the Queen’s Terminal – opened its doors in the summer of 2014. Eventually, this terminal will expand and takeover operations at the adjacent Terminal 1. With that in mind, Terminal 2 is a work in progress.
This sparkling new addition to Heathrow features an exceptional range of facilities and services in an easy-to-understand format. For departing passengers, the main entrance is on Level 5. Information desks are available on the outside wall, with luggage trolleys straight ahead and the check-in counters further on.
Services in the immediate check-in area include the following:
- Bureau de change
- Post box
- Free Wi-Fi Internet
- Disabled-accessible toilets
Cash machines are located in the Arrivals area as well as in Terminal 2B. Several airport lounges operate in the Departures area.
