Heathrow Terminal 1 focuses primarily on domestic flights, though there are a few longer-haul flights on the roster. Check-in desks are situated around Level 1 and the Mezzanine, generally on the left-hand side of the concourse as you enter through the man doors. Signs directing incoming passengers to the correct counters are clearly posted.

As you walk you through the main entrance to Terminal 1, there are two prominently displayed information kiosks on site, with a third located farther on to the left near the fall wall. Enquire here if you have any questions about your flight, the check-in process or the location of other facilities and services within the terminal.

A range of supplementary services are located here on Level 1 on both sides of security. These include the following:

  • Internet facilities (included dedicated terminals and free Wi-Fi)
  • Bureaux des changes
  • Cash machines
  • Disabled-accessible toilets
  • Post box
  • Telephones

Beyond the security checkpoint, there is also a multi-faith prayer room and three different airport lounges.
